Yes, however not all courses are available to overseas students and it does depend on the course. Examples of these are child care, aged care, building and water, due to practical components and Australian legislative requirements.

International students in Australia can only study CRICOS registered programs in Australia and must attend full time face to face classes as part of their visa.

Anyone with a trade qualification completed overseas may apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL). Yes. International students in Australia on a student visa can apply for permission to work up to 20 hours a week during course time and full-time during vacation periods.
